Good Company

I write software for independent cinemas at Indy Cinema Group, and before that I wrote software that lived in low earth orbit. In both jobs the customer expects the thing to work the first time. Here are two people who build software and the companies around it.

  • John Arrow bootstrapped Mutual Mobile into a 300-person firm and sold it to Grid Dynamics in 2023. He is now the CEO of FreedomGPT.
  • Dustin Hyle has worked with WordPress since 2007. He runs Iridium Hosting, a managed WordPress host, and 509Brand, a marketing agency for local service businesses.

Getting this site up was the work of Nick Gray and a few folks he works with. Hanz Thomas keeps a friends page as well, and there are plenty more at slashfriends.org.
